    These strings are the best. I switched from classical to rock/blues cello, and these strings work perfectly well - the pickup gets the ideal tone.

    I love Spirocores! I love them for a number of reasons. 1) nice warm focused sound with a little bit of edge 2) stable in pitch--hardly go out of tune and don't have that many intonation problems 3) longevity--I've had a set of Spirocores on my cello for a little over a year, and I'm surprised how well they play or hold up 4) adaptable to weather changes--especially in ever-changing climates/ whether humid and hot or cold and dry. 5) availability--I can order Spirocores right away, although they're in high demand for many stringed players. This is the one set of strings that I can rely on for my instrument for years and years to come.
