Our Shipping Schedule
Policies & Procedures
All orders in stock are typically shipped within 1 business day. You will be notified immediately if your order cannot ship on time, or if any items on your order are not currently in stock. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. No packages are shipped from our facility on week-ends. Holiday shipping schedules are usually posted on the homepage in advance.
Contact Regarding Your Order's Shipment
- Expedited Shipping: If you select an expedited shipping method (such as UPS 3 Day Select or 2nd Day Air) our goal will be to ship your order the same day it is placed. This is not guaranteed. For reliable expdited delivery, you must assist us by notifying us of your intended delivery date.
Our first means of contact, should we need to reach you, is EMAIL; please make sure the address we have on file is valid. We may not make a second attempt to contact you should your information be inaccurate.
Shipping Fees & Methods
All shipping charges are estimated. Actual shipping charges may vary. (This mainly applies to international shipments and irregular U.S. addresses.)
- Invalid Ship Methods: In some cases you might select a ship method that is not compatible with items in your order (i.e. STRINGS-ONLY Priority Mail for a cello chair).
We reserve the right to adjust your order in the case that an invalid or unusable shipping method has been selected. A price adjustment may be made in this case, to accommodate the adjustment of the ship method. If no adjustment is necessary we will always honor the original order total.
If you have special delivery needs or preferences, be sure to state them in the Special Instructions field at checkout. We will always notify you of any adjustments made to your order, and make records available to you for explanation of the necessary adjustments.
Tips to Ensure Timely Delivery of Your Order
Most orders that are placed before noon are shipped the same day. Most orders placed after noon are shipped the next day.
If we hear from you, we will have the information we need to get your order to you when you need it. Need it by a specific date? Send us an email!
Incomplete addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are the primary reasons for delayed shipment. Double check yourself!
Street Addresses - Make sure to enter your complete address including directional abbreviations such as N, S, E, W, and street descriptions such as Dr, Ln, Cir, etc.
Apartment Addresses - In addition to your street address, don't forget apartment (APT) or building (BLDG) numbers if applicable.
Business Addresses - In addition to your street address, don't forget suite (STE) or floor (FLR) numbers if applicable.
Phone Number - Assist your delivery person by giving us a phone number pass along to them! They can (and often will) call you to facilitate timely deliveries.
When selecting your UPS shipment option, remember that the day of shipment counts only for billing. The FOLLOWING day counts as the first moving day of your shipment.
Thus a package shipped via UPS 3 Day Select, leaving our store on Monday, will be delivered to you on Thursday. Monday is the billing day, Tuesday is the first moving day, and Thursday is the third moving day and the first delivery day. UPS usually makes up to 3 attempts to deliver your package and will leave a brown and yellow "info-notice" on your door if they miss you.
UPS packages will not be delivered to your destination on the week-ends regardless if faster shipping methods were chosen. Saturday delivery is available in some areas for 2nd and Next Day Air shipments. There is an additional fee from UPS for requests for Saturday delivery. If you need to request this service, place your order first and then call us to assure your delivery is setup accurately.
UPS Ground can take 2-6 days, depending on your location.

International Shipping Methods
US Postal Service : Priority Mail International
This method is used for 99% of international shipments. It is reliable, consistent, and offers insurance and basic tracking.
Select your country from the drop down list on the shipping checkout page. If your country is not listed, select ALL OTHER COUNTRIES.
Displayed shipping fees include all documentation fees in the U.S. and tracking and insurance to most countries. US postal service retains the right to deny insurance to countries with high loss or fraud ratings.
Customs and Import Fees
The quoted shipping price DOES NOT include any taxes that may be levied in your country [commonly referred to as a value added tax (VAT)].
If you have not ordered from the US before, check with your local post office or customs house for fees that may apply.
Shipping time is affected by destination and customs clearance.
Everything Cello is not responsible for fees levied after shipment; the customer/recipient is responsible for all import taxes and customs fees.
