Pricing:
Price: This is the total price of the given instrument due to Everything Cello before sale of the instrument is complete. Sales/items will remain the property of Everything Cello until paid in full.
Approval Fee: This is the fee, to be paid at checkout, for taking the given instrument out on approval. This fee covers shipping to the customer plus a small processing and packing fee. If the customer decides to purchase the instrument, $10 of the fee will be applied to the total Price of the given instrument.
Approval Period:
Duration: This is the amount of time allotted for the approval of the instrument, from the day of receipt to the day of return shipment, inclusive. The exact dates of the approval period will be determined (and the customer notified) at the time of initial shipment.
Due Date: This is the date by which the instrument is to be received into inventory after an approval period (also to be determined at the time of initial shipment.)
Payment: The price of an instrument, that is to be purchased after an approval period, is to be paid in full within 15 days of the approval due date. Other payment arrangements may be honored at the discretion of Everything Cello.
Loss or Damage:
In the event that the instrument is permanently lost, damaged, or destroyed, you the customer will be responsible for the full value of the instrument. This total is payable to Everything Cello. The total is due within 30 days of the instrument’s due date (if assessed as "Damaged") or within 15 days of an instrument’s assessment as "Lost/Destroyed".
Damaged: This is the condition of an instrument which has been damaged beyond resale condition (not including normal dirt/rosin build up).
Items assessed as "Damaged" may be eligible for partial payment, toward repair and lost value, at the discretion of EverythingCello.
Lost/Destroyed: The instrument is considered lost/destroyed if it is beyond repair or has remained out of EverythingCello’s possession for greater than 60 days.
Insurance:
All shipments are insured for their replacement value. This is for your protection and ours. If damaged in shipping, you will not be held responsible for an instrument’s value (unless as stated below).
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Return shipping and packing instructions will be included with your shipment to assist you in safely returning your approval item(s). If an instrument is returned to us damaged, we must hold you (the customer) responsible for the value of the instrument. We therefore strongly advise insuring return shipments for their sale value.
- If an instrument is delivered (to you) damaged, contact us immediately and avoid unnecessary handling of the instrument. You will receive further instructions for its return at that time.
